Now on DVD
You may remember the trailer. It started appearing on DVD releases years ago. I have no idea what delayed the release, but I’m glad I finally got to see it.
Fanboys is a love letter to Star Wars (and all things George Lucas) as well as that cluster of social outcasts also known as nerds and geeks. I guarantee you’ll find something fun in this movie. I was laughing almost every scene, and sometimes it was just a quick chuckle at cameo or homage to movie few others have seen. However, if you can’t tell your Stromtroopers from your Klingons, this movie is not for you. Chances are, you just won’t get it.
I think I’ll be giving this 4 stars when I return it, and I’ll be adding it to my “buy on blu ray” list.
I just want to know one thing: where do I get an incredibly cute fangirl girlfriend like Kristen Bell’s Zoe character?
