They’re Hunting Spiders…THE GAUNTLET begins here
The event that redefines Spider-Man’s classic arch-enemies one by one starts with one of his deadliest – Electro! Destitute and desperate, conned out of his life’s meaning and worth–Max Dillon becomes the voice of the common man against the brutal injustice of a system overloaded by greed. With Spider-Man already looking over his shoulder. Mark Waid and Paul Azaceta bring you the story of a hero with everything to lose against a man with nothing left to gain. Prepare for death’s short, sharp shock. Prepare for Electro.
40 PGS./Rated A …$3.99
And naturally, Marvel follows it up with an overpriced issue. There’s no mention of what the content will be, but I’m betting it will be useless fluff like what we’ve seen in other one-time overpriced books (reprints or handbook info).

It looks like they raised the cover price on the Essential books (or this one has more pages than usual). The only thing about this release that sucks is that it will most likely feature the current Essential trade dress, and as a result won’t match the previous volumes I have. Still, more Moon Knight can’t be a bad thing, can it?
I hadn’t realized that Amazing Spider-man was the only ongoing title of Marvel’s that I was buying (or will be in the months to come). Maybe there’s an opportunity to convert all of my Marvel reading into TPBs and HCs…
