And while this particular title may not be pulp itself, it's an attempt at modernizing a pulp character, and I wholeheartedly support the attempt. -

Disney’s Sleeping Beauty
Posted on July 28, 2009 | View CommentsIt's literally been a decade or two since the last time I'd seen Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty, but last night I sat down with the 50th anniversary edition on blu ray. I wish I were able to do a side by side comparison. It'd be interesting to see what, if any, differences there may be between the standard and high definition versions of the film.
