Live Action Blood: The Last Vampire teaser

The Yahoo! Japan website has begun streaming a 31-second teaser for Chris Nahon and Pathé's live-action film adaptation of Mamoru Oshii and Hiroyuki Kitakubo's Blood: The Last Vampire anime. The screenplay is credited to the Production I.G anime's Kenji Kamiyama and Hong Kong's Ronny Yu. South Korea's Jeon Ji-hyun (under the credited name of Gianna Jun) plays the main character Saya, a 16-year-old sword-wielding girl hunting down supernatural creatures. Japanese actress Koyuki plays her opponent Onigen.

I’ve been obsessed with everything Go Nagai lately, so when I saw that Netflix had the live action Devilman movie, I immediately bumped it to the top of my queue.

Warner Bros. to produce live action 'Ninja Scroll' film

Can this really be converted into a live action film, and not suck? Will it be rated R? How much of the story will remain in tact? For that matter, which Ninja Scroll will be used as source material, the movie or the TV series?
